Today was all about editing the flash mob, now that all the tapes have been captured its now time to start editing. Me and Georgie took the main role at editing with a little input from Esme. It wasn't that difficult to do and i did enjoy doing is as editing is one of my strengths. Whilst i was doing this, Georgie Esme and Adele went to the location where our game show muck is going to be and laid out the way we are going to have it and took pictures. They said that Phil said that we shouldn't do a rehearsal as it is a live show.
Tues 8th
Today we focused on radio. i got given the role as presenter as well as Sam. As a group i say we do work well as a team but some team members tend to take control even though they are not producer. This annoyed me slightly as i felt like everybody has their say, but not to the extent where they are bossing people about and to add to that they are not even the producer. We didn't really make a script, we just had a list of whats coming up on the show and been able to create chat with the other presenter. I found out that this is quite hard when he pressure is on and that's quite shocking for me. We didn't really have the right signal of when we were starting so we asked Phil and then just picked it up. We finished 20 seconds over which wasn't really that bad. We messed up the songs a little because we were doing a top 5 chart music and then had requested songs in the middle of it. What we should have done was to complete the top 5 and then give the requested songs. i thought our sound beds were quite comical. i made my boyfriend watch it online and he wrote in too! :D. Our feature had sound problems so for future reference, we should create the feature first thing, then play it back and if we have any errors then at least we should have time to correct or create a new one. what Phil never told us at the beginning of the show is that it was actually the real thing! i would say i could have done better with my performance as i feel like i lacked confidence in the radio show. Next time I'd like to do a more technical job or be a presenter on my own because i felt that Sam out shone me, and plus he was on the desk too which i thought was a bit greedy.

Today we filmed D'Arcy Extra Time in the studio. I was presenter for him. i felt like they two takes went OK. when i feel like something is wrong i speak up and i kept interrupting in the show. With it not being my show, i can't really tell anybody what to do. with me interrupting, i feel like Ive gave Darcy's group more of a difficult edit therefore more work for them.
In the afternoon, Chelsey and Ellas were filming their show with the boys dressing up as famous popstar/bands. I was just there to help out basically being a role of a runner.
As well in the afternoon our group recorded our opening titles for our game show muck. We wanted to film this outside because of the pie going everywhere but as we started preparing the pie it started to rain. So we had to do it inside but place a cover on the floor so it doesnt get in the carpet. The only trouble we had on the location where we were filming was that college students kept trying to walk past and its something that we couldnt help even though we did put up signs. it only took one take obviously we only had one pie. As soon we did this, we created our opening titles. i captured it and selected the footage and placed them on the timeline. Esme and Georgie then sorted out the sound for it and the graphic on the end.

Friday 11th
Sumo's day to film his programme. I was in early so i helped out with his set. This consumed of taping the white set boards with IDIOT yellow and black tape. He then gave me the role to go on autocue. The programme its self ran quite smoothly with only a couple of takes. We then after he had a production team for him, my group (Georgie, Amy, Esme, Adele) and then a few others, Sam Ollie and James all went out the studio and just had a run through of Muck without cameras. so camera operators were just placed where we think the cameras would go. This is just a practise to see how much room we have outside.
Later on in the day we realised we had nothing to do. So we decided to create bumper. we just went really random with the idea and just took a camera out and went with our first instinct. All we were doing was bouncing in front of the camera shouting BOING. This is a good bumper as its very versatile as we did many different experiments.
